MCX Trading Time in India

The MCX is a commodity derivatives exchange founded in 2005. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) oversees the MCX.

6. MCX market timings for Non – Agri commodities(December to February) 9:00 a.m. 11:55 p.m. major agricultural commodities are traded such as Gold, silver, oil, and gas, etc. from December to February

MCX Trading Special Session

Order cancellation takes happen during the Extraordinary Session. A Special session is held before the market opens to delete incomplete orders.

Schedule: 8:45 a.m. to 8:59 a.m.

MCX Trading Normal Session

Commodity trading takes place during the Normal Session. Agricultural and non-agricultural commodities are traded until 5:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., respectively. Non-agricultural commodities are traded until 11:55 p.m. from December to February.

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

MCX Market Timings for Agri Commodities

Agri commodities account for 12% of total commodity trading. Agricultural commodities are products that are not traded on exchanges.

Only key agricultural commodities, such as Indian spices, cereals, pulses, oilseeds, rubber, fibers like cotton and jute, dried fruits, and so on, are traded on India’s six markets.

The trading day begins at 9:00 a.m.

The transaction will be closed at 5:00 p.m.

MCX Market Timings for Non-Agri commodities

Commodity traders profit handsomely from gold, silver, oil, and gas. These futures are mostly traded on major, specialized American exchanges, and they are liquid.

These resources can be traded in the futures market, which is dominated by financial traders who wish to profit by betting on prices growing or declining.

The trade will open at 9:00 a.m.

From March to November, the trade closes at 11:30 p.m.)

From December through February, the trade closes at 11:55 p.m.)

MCX Trading Working Days

The market is only open Monday through Friday. The market observes weekends as holidays.

On the gazetted holidays, MCX is also closed.
