If you wish to send money from your bank account to someone else’s, you must make that person a beneficiary in your account. Most bank clients are unaware that you cannot transfer funds from your account to someone who is not on your beneficiary list right away. To send money to someone else’s bank account, you must first add them as a beneficiary.
