To make transactions from the Central Bank of India account, customers need to register a beneficiary first. For every online fund transfer including RTGS and NEFT, a beneficiary is mandatory.
Customers with CBI can use the following guidebook to delete beneficiaries for any reason. CBI Net Banking and CBI Mobile Banking (CENT Mobile) can be used to delete beneficiaries.
Delete Beneficiary in Central Bank Of India using CBI Net Banking
How to remove a beneficiary from CBI Net Banking:
Step #1: Go to the official website of the Netbanking at the Reserve Bank of India.
Step 2: Log in to the website using your username and password.
Step #3: Choose the Money Transfer option from the menu.
Step #4: Finally, choose Manage Beneficiary. The Fund Transfer Type will be requested on the website.
Step #5: If your registered payee has a bank account, select CBI account; if your registered payee does not have a bank account, select Other Bank Account.
Step #6: The following window will display a list of all beneficiaries who have been registered.
Step #7: Select and click on the beneficiary you want to delete.
Step #8: Select the “Delete” option. Using CBI Net banking, your beneficiary will be removed.
Delete Beneficiary in the Central Bank Of India using CBI Mobile Banking (Cent Mobile)
With CBI Mobile Banking (CENT Mobile), follow these steps to delete a beneficiary:
Step 2: Launch the CBI CENT Mobile mobile banking app.
Step 1: Enter your username and password to access the app.
Step #2: Choose the Money Transfer option from the menu.
Step #3: On the following screen, select Manage Beneficiaries.
Step #4: Select the payee transfer type. Choose CBI account if your payee is a bank account holder; if the payee does not have a CBI account, click Other Bank Account.
Step #5: Tap on the registered beneficiary to delete it.
Step #6: Select Delete and confirm your selection.
Step #7: Using the CENT mobile banking application, delete your beneficiary.
